Mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics enables the parallel identification, characterization and quantification of hundreds to thousands of proteins in complex samples. The complete workflow for MS-based proteomics consists of sample preparation, chromatography and MS measurement and data processing as well as evaluation.
This 2-day course is suitable for beginners and those familiar with applications of Mass Spectrometry in the Life Sciences. Participants will receive hands-on training in all steps of sample preparation using mammalian cells for complete proteomics and immunoprecipitation experiments for interaction proteomics.
Instructors: Garwin Pichler, Nils Kulak (Martinsried, Germany).
Number of participants: maximum 12.
Participation fee: €200 + 20% Austrian VAT
Length: The course takes two full days, from 09:00 to approx. 17:00 (with coffee and lunch breaks).
